MAKE YOUR OWN RAMEN BOWL This course is perfect for you if you’ve always dreamt of creating your own ramen bowl or crafting a unique handmade piece for your kitchen. This is an **intermediate course**, so it’s best if you’ve tried working on the pottery wheel before. Need a refresher? Book our **Pottery Wheel Introduction Class** to prepare! --- YOU NEED 1. Short fingernails 2. Clothes that can get dusty --- WHAT YOU GET 1. Learn how to create a large, sturdy ramen bowl on the pottery wheel 2. Master reliable techniques to center clay on the wheel 3. Refine the shape to make it perfect for noodle soups 4. Explore wooden shaping tools for precise details and forms 5. Learn how to design a bowl with a balanced foot and great proportions --- YOUR CHOICE At the end of the class, You can choose from a variety of high-quality, dishwasher-safe glazes to give your creation a perfect finish - 6 solid color glazes, 10€ per piece - 6 dual-tone effect glazes, 12€ per piece Our teachers will do the glazing for you. The additional fee for glazing is to cover the cost of materials and energy for the glaze-firing. This is payed in cash or contactless at the atelier. --- WHAT HAPPENS NEXT Your bowls will go through: 1. A 900°C bisque firing 2. A 1240°C glaze firing After 4 weeks, you’ll be notified when your pieces are ready for pickup. By this time, your creations will have transformed into stoneware with a durable, high-quality surface—dishwasher-safe and perfect for hot soups and daily use. Can’t pick them up in person?
